Egress Black Special
So I'm almost done with my Egress black special project, just some tiny things remaining. I wanted to do a special build for my Egress, i got an vintage Egress that is box art shelf queen, after seeing the Egress BS jr i was not in dought what i should do. And since this should be a black special, i wanted to Do some mods on the car to make it better than the standard Egress, but also look alike the BS. I started surfing TC to see what others had done to their Egress and avante 2001, and tried to incorporate most of the mods into my build, plus making some mods of my own. A big thank you to all that have helped me on this project. Thanks Tamiya Era, for your support through the project.

@Crash Cramer first i had to buy the jr kit to get the decals, then i did a scan of them after that i got a friend who took them form 1/32 scale to 1/10 scale. I found a company called stickit.no how did the printing for me, but they have a minimum order, so i got like 25 more sets of the decal, so from now on i wil only be building the Egress black special :-p
@thommo thanks, this was the first time, as you know, that i made my own CF parts and i find it very fun. The body was actually the first thing i did, because i couldn't wait to see how it would look

how did you do it? dye? did you have trouble getting the little copper strip that gets moved by the on/off switch to work properly?

I did some light Tamiya RC’ing back in the day and when the re re Avante came out I had to get one. It’s been sitting half built for 8 years but due to covid 19 I had the time to finish it.
Hoping @bjorklo has some decals left so I can make my childhood dream come true, I did some digging, and found these in the garden shed today...

This is possibly the best Model I have seen yet. I intend to do a similar thing with my new Avante bs and egress. They will be based on mini 4wd too. To make super Avante with gundam robot driver and egress mini 4wd
