Counterfeit StumpSco!!
First of all, a big thank you to JennyMo who provided the inspiration. When I saw her StumpScorcher build I just had to build one :)
This has a Kamtec ABS body that I've shortened and generally hacked. The Duratrax engine needed a little trimming to fit but now fits nicely on the battery cover, and that's a Fastrax light bar on the front.
The chassis is pretty much stock WR-02 with the usual trimmings - bearings, shocks, steel pinion and blingy wheelie bar wheel.
I'm really pleased with this, I think this could be a popular beach runner this summer.
Hope you like it too :)
Cheers,
Rob

This is really great! Both JennyMo's and yours will probably get Tamiya thinking about releasing something like this! Looks like a lot of fun.

That looks great! If Tamiya released that I would buy it! Great Job.

This looks great, I really like the fuel filler and the cockpit extras and detailing. I'm sure this will be a hoot to drive!

Thanks for all the nice comments
It was fun to build and it's definitely a laugh to drive. I will try to get a video done fairly soon.

Nice work and great design. If I where you I would write to Tamiya - maybe next year there will be a Kit... You did a great job on that one.

JennyMo had me thinking about a WR-02 build, but this little beauty has me working to make it happen! Excellent job on this one!

popular beach runner indeed it would look epic popping wheelies on the damp flat stuff!

James, yeah, we've taken it with us on a couple of beach trips and yes, it's great fun on firm, damp sand
