@taffer I run just about all the time on a sandy beach! but have driven on tarmac before and its a world apart!
but thats the great thing about these cars they can be tuned for all different surfaces that we all have at our disposal...tyres,suspension,motors etc!
I got the Flag flying high buddy

@bdamit I have some shelfers but my runners are runners indeed!

@Grastens A top runner! You must try an FAV! you will love it!

Wow you certainly getting some milage on that fav matey and bet you pleased this one was on your list of saved cars when you began your collection thinning. I'm with you on the fun these buggys give and a wild one would make a great companion. My own wild one has gone through many changes since my showroom post and is more or less shel queen so sadly no running but have a lot of used parts so maybe a runner for me too. Love the pictures mate keep em coming.

As soon as I saw this on the home page I couldn't click fast enough!!! This is just Tamiya fun down to a 'T'. Brilliant Mr. Bee!!! That FAV looks wicked bashing through the sand and skimming through the water. I like the troll tyres too they look like they do the job nicely! Can I ask how you waterproofed it? Proper job!

Thanks Mallo you must clean it quick for sure mate! No good having rust on your nuts!

@Marcus Good old rubber balloons mate

I also seal my 7.2s with Unibond power glue! sets like rubber! great stuff!
A waterproof servo is a good idea too!

Pleased you like these pics i had a blast! and its about time you got your great looking Ford Ranger out again for a beach trip!

Thanks pal.

Cheers for the tips mate I will have to have a look for the Unibond stuff. Ohh yesss too right my Ranger I think is that vintage car like your FAV that should just get run. I've retired my other vintage SRB's now. They only get gentle runs around the garden. Keep a look out the Ranger could return soon

That glue is great Marcus for all sorts of things! it is water, heat and impact resistant! The full name is UniBond Repair Extreme Power Glue! Very handy stuff! Will keep an eye out for Ranger buddy!

Thanks everyone for great comments

Titanium nuts don't rust MAD-BEE but 380 motors and servos are little magnets for the stuff.

Cool buggy and cool shots, respect for driving on wet sand and in sea water, 2 of the worst things for these buggies. Must be fun though. Maybe some shots of your waterproofing ?

MAD-BEE

balloons and sealant seems to do the trick and grease up well! But yeah l love driving on the beach but don't drive that often in the sea it's
really great fun but real nasty on bearings, motors and metal parts! Thanks buddy.
