Didn't do a lot to this other than dust it down, paint moulded wheel nuts, paint tyre lettering and dress the tyres. It's absolutely mint with full period electrics through-out. It's one of my all time favorite buggys, always wanted a pristine queen example. Its missing the side decals but to be honest I've given up hunting some down and like it the way it is so thats how its staying.

It is true that it is magnificent, if Mr Tamiya indeed wanted to re-edit it, I would indeed buy one.
At least yours is in a very beautiful state!
Félicitation!

@Binbin: Thanks for the nice comment, yes I wouldn't mind if Mr Tamiya re-released it but I'd hope he'd use metal dogbones and cups so as to strengthen the transmission. Absolutely love your homepage picture of the cat in flying goggles.

Looks great. I love the Falcon as well, and often catch myself in just staring at my own in the vitrine

Now you just need a NIB Technituned to throw in it. Are thos decals hopeless to get nowadays?

@R/CVET: Thanx buddy. @Klausen: Yes wouldn't mind a Technigold/tuned motor but they always go for silly money and yes those decals are hard to come by. Have found some a few times but they're usually part of a new sheet and you don't want to spoil the sheet just for the 2 I need, usually the decals are not cheap too, so do you pay out and then cut up sheet?
