I purchased this from a fellow TC member in Jan/Feb 2015. I've always been a big motorsport fan and touring cars is one of my faves. The DTM is of course the pinnacle of touring cars and this is one of the most successful of all time. In real life this was one of MB's poorest cars sadly due to the huge drop in build quality from 1993/4 onwards. I love the detailing on the Tamiya bodies and this one looks a gem. The TA02 chassis is one of the best builds in my opinion so it does seem a shame to keep it NIB, however that's how it's gonna stay!

Well, it is bright yellow.
I have just finished up building a DTM TA-02 chassis car, but sadly, I don't have the correct shock mount spacers to fully complete it. I will find some sooner or later, perhaps before I get the body all painted and decaled???

I ran one of these on indoor-tracks back when they were 'hot', but it never really was any match for the wide-tracked, touring-converted buggies, like the CAT 2000. Also, it did not jump very good with the Mercedes-shell, lol.
