I'm back!
Been away for a while, not from RC, just this site...
Growing up I loved Stompers and Rough Riders. Those toys were the inspiration behind my monster vette. Based on a Lunch Box chassis, I replaced the stock friction shocks with some vintage duratrax ones. The driver, Wild Willy of course, fit perfectly for this cartoonish, wheelie poppin' monster. The body is a vintage Greenwood vette re-pop in Tamiya bright red. The motor is a vintage Trinity 1987 Monster Horsepower which is a perfect match for this project.

Yes, it has that ''vintage'' look. Great Monster Vette to go out and have some fun with!

That is pretty cool, WELCOME BACK. I have a body to do, but for a different project altogether.
Good to see you back, hope I can meet up if we make it to Columbus this summer.

Yeah love it! I have a Unimog 406 Wheelie and its such fun to drive! No oil shocks on it though so that makes for a very bouncy and entertaining drive but thats ideal for beach fun!
