Let's face it, I have a bit of an addiction to Wild Willy! I blame the Tamiya catalogues of my youth. I thought the M38 was cool then, and I still think it's cool now. I didn't know there were two versions until Tamiya Club educated me, so of course I had to have one of each! But when SWBs come up for sale they're usually out of my price range... :(
Until this one. It was advertised on TC, obviously well-used but honestly described and at a reasonable price, so a deal was done.
It was a sad-looking little thing when it arrived (see final pic) but with some work and TLC it's looking a little happier now! I'd like to say thank you to my friends Noel and Philippe for their help with this one, very much appreciated guys! :D
Cheers,
Rob The 'before' pic!

Thanks for all the great comments guys. This one really was a labour of love but it's worth it. The two M38s now have pride of place in my display cabinet!
