When I heard that Tamiya was going to re-release the Monster Beetle I knew I just need to get one. I do have two vintage Monster Beetle's so this one will stay in the box for now.
It's down a few notches on my list of wants but I've definitely grown very fond of these over the years and can see myself adding one to the stable at some point.
l have a vintage MB too! One of my favourites in my collections! But l am bit chicken to drive it! The plastic does get quite fragile after so many years!
l absolutely love these they are so iconic and are real quality to look at!
Tamiya has made a lot of people happy with this release!
l know the re-re is not a perfect kit! Body holes for one! But for the money its great value and we can drive the legendary Monster Beetle in anger once again!!!!
The MB is such a fun car to drive, so one of my vintages will be a runner, light runner, if possible. Getting this one is 1987 all over again. Or maybe i should sell one of my vintages to a collector to fund another set of the re re, to use for a runner.
