This is the trailer to go with my Scania. The chassis is painted in TS-49 Bright Red, I cannot remember how many cans were used on the trailer but I know I used quite a lot on both the tractor and trailer combined. The trailer was also sprayed in TS-80 flat clear to give it a slightly faded look, I will add some weathering in the near future. It has extra twist lock cross members as I plan to change to a centre mounted 20ft container. The mudflaps are cut down king hauler ones
I have still got a fair bit to do on it, make some storage boxes, change the rear light setup so it is more similar to the NZ ones, and I have most of the parts to convert it to dualies, which I am thinking of doing.
The container is as per the manual, with some weathering and the main decal (which I should have cut ALL the clear off) reacted with the clear I think as I sat there and carefully pressed the decal into all the corrugations and spent time making sure it wouldn't lift, but it did.
I agree with other people's sentiments about the container walls. It is truly tedious trimming out the panels, they should be stamped out. And the amount of screws! Also another mention has to go with the 'sticker' that covers the two panels per side, a little tacky I thought. The trailer skeleton was fun to build but the container took the edge off the enjoyment.
Thanks to SignArt.co.nz for the custom stickers

Good job Neil !! I like both, but specially the container (maybe because I'm looking for one??). Nice results with the weathering.

Thank you Jose! It wouldn't look so bad if it wasnt for the main decal. I was thinking of selling it off too haha. Cheers
