OK I am no fan of any rerelease models, I do know that they have made countless amounts of RC fans very happy and allow us all to relive all these emotions we so enjoy and they do have a very important place in the history of rc. Tamiya unfortunately took no efforts what so ever to take into account the importance of keeping the originals safe. It takes a very well trained eye to tell if a original car is untouched in any way with the influx of rerelease parts. So team associates have showed Tamiya up and done there part to keep originals original with marked parts and slight changes to there mouldings keeping the originals safe. Now there has only been two rerelease kits I ever intended to purchase the Tamiya Avante and a gold pan both kits are stunning in every way, what made this buy a absolute must was the price a very respectful £190. Now I ask you at that price its a joy to buy and one day I may even build her! but for now it's a great investment and the closest I may ever get to owning a original in new condition.
RC 10 is the champion of all cars and probably is the greatest RC car ever made..

Totally agree! There is really no argument that the EC10 us the greatest RC ever made. No car will ever win more and be so far ahead of it's competitors again. In addition to being so successful it is a great looking buggy too, unlike most of the ugly modern cab-forward style ones. Enjoy owning a piece of history!
