Futaba megatech pistol grip.
Finally after several years of waiting! the perfect condition futaba megatech shows up on the auction site In mint condition. This one some how escaped the clutches of the RC racer and never got used along with its receiver. Now I'm not going to get into depth on what this is capable of doing as for most RC car collectors it would go straight over our heads but as my other passion is 3D RC helicopters this offers the kind of fine tuning and adjustment not far of any of the most sofistcated transmitters of today.
For me this has to be the ultimate in radio gear before going LCD and push buttons, every thing you ever want in servo adjustment is included in this mind blowing piece of vintage RC electronics. With its array of dial's and buttons plus it's bleeps and lights its like a prop from ghost busters lol, on the serious side of things there is not much more you could even ask for when it comes down to how sophisticated this really is! for a transmitter which came out 1990 its awesome and bloody heavy lol! that's the down side it's as heavy as a builders brick but you would definitely stand out amongst the RC guys at the track with this piece of kit. This is totally retro looking and a superb display of RC technology.

VERY nice indeed. Too bad it wasn't something a bit more like this that Dr Brown would use in Back to the Future. Oh well, he still used a Futaba, oh and also the serial madman in Dead Pool used a Futaba as well, a FP-T4L to be exact.
