THE LEGENDARY SAND ROVER!
Hi folks its been a while but still in the game! Mostly just runners these day! Getting the meat off the bone with these cars! Back to this beauty my latest the legendary Sand Rover! My wife bought this for me locally for my Birthday that's today! 43 years young! I found this on eBay and said l fancy one to drive on the beach! So my wife said you could have it for your birthday! Back of the net l am not under the thumb much! lol. Back to the car it's in great shape! l will pop in modern radio and ESC! Try a torque tuned motor to start with! keep it safe! I need to strengthen the front suspension mounts! A home made gear box cover sounds good too! You may of guessed this is to be run! Perfect for smooth wet flat Sand! Will look so cool and sure l will get a real buzz driving it! Anyway thanks for looking and comments welcome guys Cheers James

Cheers chaps had a great day plus got to start on this beautiful creation! I have cleaned my Sand Rover up and started working on something to strengthen the suspension mounts! This car is in wonderful condition so over the moon with it.I need to make up some sort of gear box cover because this car will be driven on the beach! Have to get creative lol. Cheers guys.

Thanks mate l had a great day! Yeah that gearbox cover will take a bit of thinking! I have driven my Holiday Buggy on the beach before and it was not that bad but that was dry sand! Wet sand is even worse! If l can keep 95% of the Sand out that gearbox l will be happy!👍

l can't wait to run this on the beach chaps it's now been cleaned and had modern electrics put in with a safe Torque tuned motor to start with installed. front suspension mounts reinforced but still need to make a gearbox cover from something! Just can't wait for this to hit the Sand!
