DTM The golden years

DTM in the 80's and early 90's were the golden years of DTM for me. The 16v Mercedes 190 was one of the stars back than. It was my absolute favourite. I think the Tamiya captured 190 Evo2 body absolutely right (better than the M3 imho). I found this 1992 TA01 on a local website. Very nice, unmarked chassis and interior. 98% of the decals were applied on the body The ones on the rearspoiler and some on the rearbumper are missing. And best of all; the unscratched body was unpainted! I painted it boxart and added details such as frontsplitter, exhaustpipes, vizor on the helmet and rollcage, widened the track front and rear, painted thin black lines around rearlights and painted doorhandles. Windscreenwiper will be added soon. I just can't stop looking at it! Hope you like it.
