Ok its not Tamiya, but what a Countach
This is a 1/8th scale Deagostini Countach. I came across one of these on eBay built a few months ago and was amazed at the price is sold for, quite expensive at about 500 pounds or more. I kept my eye out and then saw a un-built full set of parts on ebay go for £1050 ish, WOW I thought, I cant justify that, well to the missus anyway.
But it's a Countach and I kept watching ebay to see what would come up while simultaneously doing some research on modelspace which I then found out sell the whole kit.
Modelspace came out with a 20% offer over easter, which was about £900 instead of £1100 they list it at. Well I was tempted!! But they day after someone puts up one full kit with all parts etc on eBay for £700. I had to buy it but had to keep it secret from the wife HAHA!
I've had it for a few weeks and have wanted to share it with you all. It's only in parts at the moment but I do think I will build it at some point. I also purchased the Deagostini 1/8th scale display case for it, which was a reasonable £60, plus a couple of Deagostini ring binders for the build magazines you get with the kit.
The kit and parts really do look amazing, it's 1/8th scale and looks massive compared to the Tamiya Countach. I was pleasently surprised that even the wheel are solid metal. It really does look an impressive model.

Looks really good. Loads of detail to keep you busy. Miami Vice theme is now playing in my head for some reason.
