Having recently received a comment on my Tamiya Jimny Wheelie car from an unregistered TC member? It made me realise that although I did buy and build a couple of new Tamiya cars the year before last but for some reason I did not follow up the initial build entries with pictures of the finished products….

…Which is totally unlike me as I’m always so diligent about such things? Anyway this has now cajoled me in action somewhat and I’ve been up into the loft to check on a couple of cars and sure enough there are 3 recent (if you can all it that?) additions to my collection that I need to do photo updates on these being the Tamiya Zahak, the Tamiya Suzuki Jimny (Blue Version) and the Tamiya Dark Impact (White edition) which is the car I’m going to start out with.

I got the Dark Impact (White edition) back in April 2015 when I got wind of its release and checked up on Modelsport UK and say they had it in stock so I ordered it and it arrived, now I decided to build the car right away but as it’s so striking in it bright white colour scheme I have no intentions of running this car and have built it dry as a new build only but I have fitted a steering servo to it as I just happened to have a few spare ones knocking around, the build of the car I detailed in my second to last showroom entry (however long ago that was?) and this is just a series of pictures showing the completed car from a number of different angles, Yes I know this is the third time I’ve posted up this car in a separate showroom entry? And I may get some flack for that but how often do I update my showroom these days?

I’ve not been an active RC collector for some years now and I got a bit of following as I like to do large write-ups on my showroom entries which some people like to read, but my collecting focus has been directed elsewhere since May 2014 and as a result of which my RC collection has taken a back seat, but I’m still here though and so is my collection and every now and again I will do something with it as is the case right now but I continue to keep my Tamiyaclub Subscription up as I have too much invested in it to just let it lapse, so forgive me if I do a few duplicate model updates?
