This started out as a saved from the bin project someone had thrown out . It was in a bad state . I sourced many parts with the help of Lewis (member KingCab06) - a massive thanks mate . I hand made many of the alu chassis parts and rear axle blocks - which have RS bearings fitted . I have an FRP Competition chassis plate to fit instead of the alu one . I sourced an original Capri shell and modifed / scratch built it to replicate a 1:1 Zakspeed shell . It will be liveried in the classic White / Red Wurth scheme eventually

Wow dude, very impressive work. The chassis looks amazing. Cant wait for the finished product. BTW, did those cars come with that shell?

Thanks guys , @puffdog , the shell is the Mardave original Capri shell for that chassis , but this one is much modified from stock . All of the rear detail and wing is custom built and the window cut outs are reshaped to look more 'Capri' shape . I'll put up a pic of the original shell / wing

Any idea on where to get the rear wheels from?

Awesome car

The wheels are hard to find , but they were also used on a few other Mardaves like the F1 cars , so a patient search on eBay is probably be your best bet
