New car from left over parts
Decided to piece together an EVO 3 with a bunch of new old stock parts I had lying around. Thankfully I had a chassis. I had to use TRF rear axle carriers, which worked great, along with some TRF gold axles, a 414M rear shock tower and other misc. parts. I wasn't going to buy a new center chassis brace because people want to much money for them so I made my own copy out of 1/8th' cast acrylic. Works perfect.
I had this old Yokomo Porsche GT 911 body shell I painted last year and decided to use it with this chassis. Great shell, old school 70's stuff. Directions were in Japanese but it had good pictures. The decals are original but I added the pin stripes, etc.
It was a fun project that gave way to a new idea, which I'll post when its complete, if it works. I will be selling this one on Ebay if you want to check it out.

I had to buy a few new bits here and there but most of it was left over from some early EVO3 and Surikarn projects. Parts bin is FULL and actually taking up too much space. lol. I might have to have a garage sale?

Thanks all. I usually have one or two cars going at a time. I am self employed so I get a few idle hours in here and there to finish them. I like to think every one of them is just a little different then the other. I have a few box art vintage stuff, but stick mostly to touring GT.
