Retro Comp - Fiat 509 first mockup

One of my favourite comic book 'hero's' is Guust Flater (Gaston Lagaffe) who happens to drive a rather special Fiat 509.

I've always wanted to build my own body from scratch to put on an RC car. In this case the DT-02 seemed a nice base to try this out and with the 2CV an NSU released by Tamiya I went for this mostly unknown but very retro Fiat 509.

This is a first for me so I thought it would be good to make a mockup to get a good idea of the proportions and to get templates before I begin cutting styrene sheet material. painted the Mockup to get a realistic idea of what the end result would look like.

I really hope to find the time to build this in styrene or abs sheet material.
