Lovely Little Lancia
I've got to admit to struggling a bit with this one. Lots of head scratching just following the painting instructions in the manual!
Parts that the brush wouldn't reach, like the black areas just below the aux lights, took some creative thinking.
Wheelbase shortened by 2.5mm and the body lowered at the rear and raised at the front. Wheels stripped of chrome and painted
a more convincing shade of aluminium.

Very nice work. I really enjoyed building mine. I shortened the wheelbase too. Just didn't look quite right without the modification.

Thanks guys. @CAVALIERSRI, isn't it annoying that we have to do such a thing? Even worse, mine sits dead in the middle
at -2.5mm on the left side, but is now ever so slightly too short on the right side. Maybe it's a '70's thing.

I have one of these ready to go next. Interested to hear that the wheelbase needed tinkering with. What would you be aiming for ideally? About 1.5mm?

Thanks NJM. -2.5mm is perfect on the left hand side, but the right hand side needs closer to -1.7mm. I didn't fancy one side being longer than the other, so just went with -2.5mm both sides. It looks ok in the flesh. The slight fish-eye effect from the lens makes it look worse than it is in the pics.

I've added a pic of the rear arms. The large silver spacer is a Tamiya 2mm spacer, the smaller one a Tamiya 0.5mm shim. As you can see they are spaced the same, it's just that something else (possibly the body) isn't quite square. The upper arms needed spacing out too, as did the rear bumper.
