This is something I'd been meaning to do for a while but haven't had the time thanks to work, family and other RC events needing work done. Anyway, it's always bothered me that there's nowhere for the MFC switch box to go on a Globe Liner. Stuffing it into the cab with the rest of the electrickery is all very well but it makes it a tight fit, and means taking the battery cover off to get to the switches. That's bad enough when the tractor is standalone (I find the catches are very stiff) but it's a nightmare with a trailer installed. And since my trailer is a pole trailer, which is awkward to detach and won't stand unsupported on a layout, something had to change.

So I found myself wondering if it's possible to get the MFC switch unit into the fuel tank. See the build thread linked below for full instructions:
