Hi all just had to share this with you!!!!
You know how it is your browsing on the bay looking for a bargain and these days there becoming scarcer and scarcer!!!! So you can imagine my surprise when I spied this beauty a super rare mk1 ranger decal set for the very first incarnation of the ford ranger the one with the prototype wheel arches that were revised at a later date because they rubbed on the front wheels.
I've had a set of the later ones before but never these.

The eBay description was the same as those dodgy ones you get from the guy in dartford,
You know they say 'custom tamiya hpi losi pre cut decals' there rubbish!!!! I had a set of 959 decals off him about 2 yrs ago just to try as soon as they arrived I was straight onto him demanding my money back which he duely did.
Anyway back to the ranger decals!! As I said the ranger decals were described the same so the seller probably did a eBay search found the dodgy ones described and that's what they used plus they had a buy it now price of!! Wait for it!!! Wait for it!!!! £9.50 + free postage this has got to be up there with my top tamiya bargains of all time!!! God knows what these rare decals are worth today there all sealed not been opened since 1982 plus there's not a crease on them it's a miracle they've survived this long in such good condition!!!!! We should start a thread on the forum 'your greatest ever tamiya bargains' I bet everyone has there own little stories they'd love to share.
Anyway enjoy the pics I'm just going to pour myself a double brandy to calm my nerves!!!!!!!!! Merry Christmas everyone.

Mint!!!! 1982 wow!!!! Seal not broken!!!!!

Nice find! Back in 2008 I found a NIP radio electronics box for the SRB's at an old hobby shop for $5.00 and it sold for over $200 on Ebay.
