wow. once it was my California beetle with which i joined a local buggy club. they all called me california, because this kit was sold from an austrian manufacturer and named 'california'. so my nick name was born. that was in 1985, boy oh boy, many many weeks ago :) now my friend needs place for new projects. all his cars are famous and shown in specail newspapers here in austria and germany. so many pics, just a few possible to show. today he offered me to buy it back under many many tears, but he needs space and of course the money for his new ideas. so i think that i will have my real sand scorcher in my new garage in a few days. yipieeeee :) :)

sadly no bigger tires are allowed terrible regulations here, but all is street legal look the roof scoop.oil cooler included nice paintwork on the cooling box,or ? special hand made interior

looks cool. i just sold my spare 1/10 sandrover body to help fund the 1/1 beach buggy shell i'm picking up tomorrow, so i too will have a matching pair (well almost, its a volksrod not sandrover)

Oh wow... This just looks so fantastic!.. I just love that colourscheme, actually the only part i dont like, is the scoop on the roof.

Cheers.

Loving it!!!!!! That paint style is just so 'retro' of how it was done in the 80's by friends of mine Vee-dubs.
