I've just completed this model, a bit different from my usual models (1:87, 1:50 or 1:24 trucks). I've been tempted for so long and kept thinking about the building the Volvo but when this was annouced I just had to build one. It has the 56511 Multi control kit fitted which I am so glad I went for, it brings it to life. All the decals I have printed and created myself.

Stunning...Can I ask how you did the cab graphics?

Thanks.
The wording I re-created using Coral Draw software and the S chervon grahics were copied from my photos of one of the real trucks and both then printed on an ALPS printer onto waterslide decal paper.

I was going to do this exact colour scheme. I will have to have a rethink now! Shame they didnt make the double rear axle. Great work though.

Wow, that is some truly top-notch work you've done her. Thanks for the details on the graphics - I often forget about the waterslide option! Mind me asking what an 'ALPS' printer is? -Steve

An ALPS printer is a dry ink printer that uses single colour ink cassette/cartridges, unfortunatley the printers are no longer made and are now very difficult to get hold of and expensive if you do found one.
