My first real car was a Beetle. Not a mint example like this, but a '73 1303S I bought cheap as a wreck and fixed it so it could bring me to school.
I especially love the Metallic Green/Pearl White two tone and the attention to details put into this build. It’s also fully ball raced and Tamiya oil filled dampers all the way around.
This one is going straight to the shelf.

If it wasn't for the body post, that would pass for a real car.
dont shelf it, get a speed passion 2.5T brushless motor for it, and go beat all of the nitro boys. The comedy factor would be great

As a big Beetle fan (had a 64 Cal-Looker once) and an even bigger Tamiya fan, these pictures nearly makes my heart stop. Amazing pictures, and simply great styled Beetle! Well done!
