A&L equiped Hilux monster racer
This is my much loved hilux runner. It has a A&l Lethal weapon belt drive tranny, ball raced steering link, uprated top arms,quick release battery holder, and an old kyosho 14x2 dirt oval motor with V2 type end bell. This car is great fun but parts keep falling off it, I am thinking of upgrading to one of the cheap brushless setups i read about in the forum but that depends on the mrs.
Big thank's to Kontemax if it was not for his king cab I would have got rid of this truck.
29/11/08 Fitted carbon fibre mech deck to the truck today and made some new mounts for the quick release battery holder out of carbon fibre rod&sheet.

Thank you, the tranny is a vast improvment over the standard one which needed a re-build every other run

It was this pic that made me aquire some dirt paws for bashing and I found your 'how to' on the forums for the egress ball raced set. So thanks! Love your HMR, it's on my 'to get' list
