The STUMPkin - part 2
December 2009: Well, having finished my Fro-Sco this week, and it being far too snowy to run it, I thought I would turn my attention to the STUMPkin project that has been smoldering away on the back burner (ok, I lie - sitting dormant in a box under the bed for 18 months actually!)...
To recap - I first chopped down this Midnight Pumpkin shell years ago, and fitted it to a cheap RC chassis in a sort of cartoon/scaler sort of a way (see part 1)...
Having built up a NIB Wild Willy 2 chassis last year, I offered the shell up and it sort of fits in a mini-monster truck kind of a way... I did consider buying a new Pumpkin shell to get the wheelbase bang-on, but felt maybe that was not really in the spirit of things?, so have set about the existing shell with Doctor Dremel, and this is the result so far... I'm currently waiting for all the filler to dry before the final sanding and shaping etc. Jx
Marked for cutting Attacked with Doctor Dremel! Tidying the load bay body filled, and grill panel shortened Body position Fancy wheels! Work will be needed around grille panel

Thanks guys! Just added some photos with the shell resting on the chassis - hopefully you'll get a better idea where I'm going with this?
