Finally found the time to finish my 'Winter Holiday Buggy' and it was a good opportunity to add some details to my 'snow' Rover. You can't imagine how much time it takes to finish the tire lettering and chrome the rims but once finished the result is worth it.Now just have to restore the body f my Sand Rover and I can add them to my favorite showroom. Thanks for looking.

OK, ive got some questions that i would really like you to reply to , firstly is you shell painted cos its really shiny, and secondly what did you use on the wheels, i've tried various chrome sprays but they're all rubbish, i take it yoiu tried to get a set of alloys from Rad Alloy, like i did , gave up in the end.

Hello guys and thank you for your many comments. To answer some question. The shine on my Holiday Buggy is obtained after painting with 'shiny clear primer' especially for car bumpers and not with normal primer because the surface off the normal primer is too rough and you can't sandpaper the corners on this car.I painted after with original TS 15 in my new personal paint cabine to avoid any dust (see the pics on my showroom). For the rims I use a very special spray that I used for my planes and it is 'Pactra' chrome. The chrome is even much better than any alloy wheels and they stay original for the purists.A spray bottle cost 5.25 Euros and I alwready spray 4 sets with one spraybottle But be carefull, first practice the chrome paint on old plastic objects because it's very subtile to have perfect result and you don't have 2 chances.By the way I really appreciate your many ask if I sell the holiday buggy but at this moment no and I hope I will never built onother one because it is a nightmare to paint. The best advice is take your time. This one was built with over 150 hours... is good for 10.000 looking hours so it is worth it.

Hi, the paint tip you give here is very interresting. Do you have the name/brand of the primer you used on the HB?
