Fantastic work, love the detail. How did you do the piping?

Superb result! Only too glossy lol. The trims really bring it to life - I wanna open the door and get in. What materials did you use for the detailing?

beetleman & Finman, I used 0.25' styreen strips for piping & 0.30' for alloy side moldings. thin styreen sheet for light & handle gaskets & very fine black tube for sunroof (sunroof must be trimmed back to fit) o.25 strip for crome trim around rear lights.

0.20' would prob be better for piping though!

That has to be one of the best paint jobs I have ever seen .
Can you explain a bit more about piping what is it and how do you apply it (is it the black you have applied to varies parts of the body ? ).
Perhaps a Tutorial on piping would be good since you have done such a great job .
Skottoman
Even put screw holes in the rear clear lights! Amazing work! I've been working on mine for a long time, and understand what happens when you keep poking along and adding stuff.. 'What can I add now?!' GREAT JOB! Looks like 38 coats of clear on that! Sweet!

Swarm, I might just have to do a Tutorial on piping. But its very fine round strips of styreen that i have sanded & sprayed black. Then i apply masking tape to wing/body, then supper glue stips inbetween tape. I find it best to apply glue to a knife blade, then run piping along glue, then glue from running board up n over wing(Fender). Make sure the piping is longer than you need, so you just trim back excess when finnished. All other black bits on body are just painted on.
