Knolling

Here is my competition entry. I'm rubbish at photography but the idea of arranging things in neat rows appealed so I thought I would have a go. Lets just say that arranging screws is not as easy as it would seem, especially those with a domed head! My choice was the good old 3 x 12 self tapping screw as I thought I had enough to complete the job. I was wrong and half way through had to start robbing them from other places. First I used my old used ones (which I have learnt are much more difficult to 'knoll' due to their deformed heads) and eventually had to 'borrow' some from my restored models!! Each and every screw has been placed upright by hand and then gently slid into position with the end of a finger, all 284 of them :) Just couldn't resist comforting them around the edge with some of Tamiya's finest models......
