Tamiya 84057 Black Porsche 934 Chassis Kit NIB 911 Turbo RSR 1/12

This is a fantastic unbuilt example of the stunning limited edition Tamiya Porsche 934 Black Series complete with the black plastic body set, branded bag and the clear lexan bodyshell. Comes with individual numbered plaque of #585. It was originally released in 2009. The kit has been looked after fastidiously all of its life, however there are some wear marks on the outer box as shown in the pictures. All the internal packaging, bags and contents are as new and unopened.

The 84057 Black Porsche 934 is a Serial Numbered, Limited Release tribute kit. Packaged in a similar box to the original 1978 Black Porsche 934. This example is a very collectible Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) kit, which includes a holdall style bag that says 'Porsche 934'.

This model features two different body shells; a polycarbonate body for running use as well as an injection-moulded resin body for display use. The resin body is moulded with an overhauled original metal mould which was produced more than 30 years ago. The kit packaging and the included carrying bag feature a retro design to remind us of the good old days. A small metal individually numbered plate is included for this premium re-released model. The high-performance GT-01 chassis is specific to the TamTech-Gear Series. Its lightweight semi-monocoque frame has a low centre of gravity and a durable roll cage for excellent balance. 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension features a unique front-mounted horizontal friction damper system allowing for an accurate low silhouette. A rear-mounted high-efficiency Type 370 motor drives the rear wheels just like in the actual car, with a ball differential and slipper clutch ensuring maximum traction. Full ball bearings and universal shafts come standard to help minimise friction loss. In addition, body mount parts for the resin body are included to ensure the best fitting to the chassis.
