M&E Models ERA Tether Car

Here we have for sale an extremely rare ERA bodied tether car, produced by M&E models of Exmouth in about 1947. It is about 18 inches long and 8 inches wide.

The chassis is numbered 1559 and the bonnet is stamped 11.

Unfortunately the hand carved pine body is in several pieces, though as all the pieces are present, not much of a challenge to reassemble and repaint.

One half of one front wheel and the hub nut are missing neither would be difficult to reproduce for a model engineer.

The engine pictured in some of the photographs with the car is NOT included, (and was not in the model anyway)
