G'day all
My children got to give the 959 beetle a good flogging on the weekend, they drove it for nearly an hour & still couldnt' kill it! What a great little car.
Video also attached, if I never hear the herbie theme music again it will be too soon! LOL
Sorry the pics are a bit blurry.

if only it was in focus!

You'd never say that 959 was 1/12th scale. They look pretty close, scale wise..

Looks awesome, really. Great idea to combine this chassis and the classic body. Does the car often roll over with this body (higher center of gravity)? Again: really great car.

Oh, the mud! How could you rizzo. Its just so pretty. If you send it to me I will clean it up real nice and sit it on my shelf. I love the bug. The video was jammin too.

Amazingly it didn't roll once, my children tried too! It does need to be 4WD & to have softer suspension as well, but otherwise it's great to drive.

Now THATS the spirit! Rally cars are meant to be dirty, not bright and shiny..

Love the pics, looks like lots of fun.

Cheers.

I think you've added one of the best TC models in 2010 just in time for 2010... Otherwise it would have been one of the best in 2011 I love it and great pictures here too, really very nice, especially 5,6,7.

Brilliant idea that works superbly, excellent work! Cant believe you've ran it in those dirty conditions after all that hard work, it does look amazing with all that muck on it though. Video was fun too, all in all a thoroughly entertaining post, nice one!
