Hi Guys, I had this SS 2010 for a while and just finished building it. I chose box art colours. Its the best colour combo in my opinion. Building the chassis was pretty easy and straight forward. The bodyshell requires a lot of time, attention and steps to get it right. Exhaust stinger in silver leaf to match the rear gearcase and white letterings were added to the tyres. Overall, I'm pretty pleased with the results. Its also fitted with a ball diff unit and limited edition chrome wheels from Jasons. It really sets me back in time after building it. Just like looking it in an old catalogue but in your hands for now.

This old catalogue that made me nuts over it.

Seems a catalogue from Tamiya has made more than one of us nuts about these things. I think your car is very clean and wonderfully executed. The wheels have a nice warmth and depth to them. I dig the stinger, nicely painted and I guess I would like to know what color that is exactly so I can try to get mine close?? I have some x-11 here, is that the right color?

Thanks Guys, appreciate your kind comments. @Crash Cramer; I used TS-30 silver leaf on the stinger. It has an anodised finish feel to it.

Good to see something from you again, Dr. Roberts!
Great example you did. But please correct the rear lights to fully red US ones or do the correct yellow/red/red paint scheme.
I really don´t know, why Tamiya still indicates the wrong rear light colors after all these years...
The chrome wheels are great, and bring out the box art charactre even more!

Thanks Guys for the comments, I just kept it simple and followed the box art. @ruebiracer; 'Spot on' about the rear lights. I had doubts painting the top part red at first but didn't realise it was Tamiyas mistake. Took their instructions for granted. Thanks for clearing that up.
