bought from my first own money, this was my first 3-Gear. The mechanics had fascinated me already years ago with the Hilux. I just could not afford that at the time. The Hilux 58028 at that time cost about 566 DM in 1982, which at the time was USD 232, -.
Only 4 years later, I just turned 18, I was able to raise the almost 500 DM for the Bruiser, the Hilux was unfortunately no longer available.
It took about another 15 years until ebay was born.
Today I am so happy to call a Bruiser NIB my own wich looks as he come straight from my Hobby Shop. No broken Blister and a withe shiny Box. life can be so beatiful.

Very nice Guido, just got the bug 2 years ago and catched a original Mountaineer from the bay rather cheap. The Hilux was back then out of reach for me, too. But These are all so fascinating cars, and I know you even have some 58028`s now. (-;
