This is my dream kit. Took me a long time to find a virtual new but affordable one. Box condition is not really good and the blister pack glue was almost 100% collapsed. Perfect example to build. I have started with the chassis and I will crack on with the body soon.

Gorgeous special kit and because of that reasons you said about the box etc, perfect to build and to be honest l do not see the point of nibs and missing out of the experience of building, displaying or running such fantastic kits as this! Unless someone can cover the cost and buy a couple kits maybe then keep one as a nib. I bet it was a beautiful build? Love the msc set up on this car! So vintage!!!The bodyshell next then mate well just take your time is my advice if that counts for much as not an expert by any means!

Wow this is just awesome. Building an early kit (doesn’t get much earlier than this one
) like this is a dream come true for many an RC enthusiasts I have no doubt. No doubt you really enjoyed this! Good stuff sharing it with us all

Where did you get the wheels and tires in the last pic? I've been looking for those for my 58025 Golf.

Thanks for the kind comments. The wheels are from a static kit and they fit with a little mod. They are for display only

Why on earth doesnt Tamiya make a real re-release of this? In fact any of the early ones I would be happy building.
