1/12 Bruiser (Pretty funny story)
A friend of mine told me a long time ago that he have had several Tamiya-cars years ago. He told me that he had some parts laying around at his mothers house. He said something about a Toyota Hilux bodied car. The best part was that he told me that whatever he found whould be mine free of charge. Yesterday i got a phone-call from him. He told me he had found the Hilux and that i could come around anytime and pick it up. I was there in about 5minutes after i hung up(pretty fast considering that its normally a 10minute drive). Should be needless to say that i was disappointed when he hauled this piece of crap from his loft. Its an OLD Nikko car!!!! I was struggling to keep my face straight when i tossed it in the back of my car and brought it home. The only positive thing about it is that the body is pretty scaleish. Test mounted it on my Monster Beetle and i think it look pretty cool. The moral of the story is once again:IF SOMETHING SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT PROBABLY IS!!!
Bruiser...Yeah right! Bad car coolish body Pretty Cool!! Pretty Cool 2

I had one that looked exactly the same as that. Mine was a Radio Shack pickup, could switch between 2 and 4 wheel drive. Very poor, glad I graduated to Tamiya!
It looks so rubbish. But on that monster bettle chassis, it actually looks cool. Now you got to do a decent spray job on that body. Its begging to be finished off. Cool truck.
Scorchio
Beetle Juice! Don't be so hard on it! I'm sure with a bit of TLC some lighter fuel and a box of matches you'll have a fine entry for this months competition.
Petrolhead
u dont want the guy who u sold it to to see this page!
Beetlejuice
@petrolhead didn`t sell it. It was given to me by a friend. Actually starting to like the body more each day. Almost prepared for a new layer of paint now Will post pictures of the finished result in a few days. Thanx for all feedbacks!
