Hello all.
I am proud to show you my latest acquisition, a Porsche 935 Martini bodyshell. As I use my TamTech-Gear mainly for racing in the Euro Cup series, I did not plan on doing it boxart but a little more individual. And this is what I ended up with, a white front that fades into a pink rear end, decorated with few decals to give it a small touch of class.
This is not the first Porsche body on this chassis, I bought it as a 934 turbo RSR, that I painted black, later on I exchanged this for a blue 934 for racing and now I decided to try the 935, as it should have more downforce, especially on the rear. And it definitely has different handling characteristics than the standard 934, less steering because of more weight and grip on the rear. But that is exactly what I was looking for, as I suffered from too much steering on the last race. Maybe a Countach or GTO would be a better racer, but I like Porsche, so it had to be this body.
A Co-Racer cleaned up his attic and after that he gave me a plastic bag full of Toy-RC-parts for free, as he would have thrown them away anyway. And what did I find inside of the bag? Two Kremer Porsche 935 K3 bodies, one complete with decals, one naked (in fact, stripped off its decals, the glue is still on the body). And best of all, they are 12th scale, fitting the GT01s wheelbase perfect, only a bit too wide for the GT01, even with the 935s 2mm offset rims. Possible solutions for this: Buy a Cheap PanCar to fit the K3 on or modifiy a GT-01 with GB-01 parts to get a wider track. I think I will stick with the first version for now and maybe try the second version later.

Very nice 'fade' work! I also like the simple decal scheme. Looks very nice!

You race Tamtech gear cars in Eurocup in Germany , why don't we run them in Tamiya Cup here ??!! The powers that be , it must be great racing , nice car and alternate paint scheme !!
