My name is Stephen. Born and have lived in Australia most of my life, although I spent 5 years living in the UK as a teenager in the 1980's. Living in the UK (Devon) was where I got hooked onto Tamiya. In the late 1980's we moved back to Australia. My cars back then included The Hornet, Lunchbox and Kyosho Optima Mid. I always craved a Porsche 959 back then but couldn't afford it. Sadly my models from that time are long gone. I am still repaying Mum and Dad for those ;) Those were the days. My interest in RC then (1990) wained and I turned my attention towards girls, real cars and the Commodore Amiga (F18 Interceptor Yeah Baby!!)..I re-discovered the hobby again in late 2008 after entering my local hobby shop and noticing the Tamiya Durga on the shelf. I now have quite an extensive collection of vintage and new Tamiya cars I have purchased the past 8.5 years. I get a bit slack when it comes to uploading them to my showroom. I prefer to have my RC cars on the shelf on display, not really an NIB fan, I do have a few in deep storage all the same.
I keep a close eye on Ebay for used vintage Tamiya in Australia and overseas.

For newer kits I enjoy shopping online at Stellamodels and RCmart in Hong Kong. I cannot recommend them enough. :)

My other hobbies include collecting old computers/consoles (Atari 2600, ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC464, C64, Game&Watch etc), Vintage Star Wars figures and vehicles, Lego Modular, Lego City and Lego Star Wars ....Nerd Alert and doesn't want to grow up lol:)
